Websites Built to Load Fast and Convert

A website is often the first (and sometimes the only) interaction a customer has with your business before they decide to call, book or buy. Echo Technology designs and builds custom websites on Next.js, React and Tailwind CSS: real code, not a drag-and-drop template, so pages load fast, hold up on a phone in bright sunlight, and give visitors an obvious next step.

No two clients get the same site. FitDad Movement needed heavy type, high contrast and momentum on every scroll to match a fitness community built around accountability. Brienna's Cosmetic Clinic needed the opposite: a calm, unhurried pace where transitions ease rather than snap, because a booking-focused clinic site shouldn't feel like a hard sell. We design to the brief in front of us, not a house style we reuse on every job.

Because it's built in the same framework we use for web applications, a website we build doesn't hit a ceiling. If a booking form needs to become a real customer portal, or a product catalogue needs to become an ordering system, the foundation is already there. You're not starting over.

01 /Who It's For

This is for businesses that have outgrown a DIY builder, a five-year-old WordPress theme, or an agency template that looks like every other site in the industry. If your current site is slow, hard to update, or doesn't reflect how the business actually operates day to day, a rebuild on modern infrastructure fixes both the visible problem and the invisible one underneath it.

We've built for gyms and fitness communities, clinics and beauty businesses, and circular-economy operators, from our Sunshine Coast base, across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with client work reaching as far as Central Queensland. The common thread isn't industry, it's a business that needs the site to do real work: convert a visitor into an enquiry, a booking, or a sale.

02 /What You Get

  • Custom-designed pages built in Next.js, React and Tailwind CSS: no page-builder plugins or bloated themes
  • Mobile-first, responsive layout checked on real phones and tablets, not just a browser resize
  • On-page SEO fundamentals: proper heading structure, meta tags, an XML sitemap, and fast load times out of the box
  • Booking, enquiry or contact forms wired into the tools you already use: email, calendar, CRM
  • Content structure and copy guidance so pages read clearly, not just look good
  • Basic analytics set up from day one so you can see what visitors actually do
  • A simple content-editing setup if you need to update text, images or offers yourself
  • Full source code and hosting access handed over at launch: no platform lock-in

03 /How We Work

We start with Discovery, a working session to understand your business, your customers and what the current site is getting wrong. Design turns that into wireframes and a visual direction you sign off before a single line of code is written. Build is where the site gets made in Next.js, React and Tailwind, with regular check-ins rather than a black-box wait. Launch includes domain, SSL, redirects from any old URLs, and a final device check across phone, tablet and desktop. Support continues after launch: fixes, small changes and a point of contact if something needs attention.

04 /Common Questions

Do I own the code and the domain?+

Yes. You own the source code, the domain, and the hosting account. Nothing is licensed back to us and there's no dependency on us staying involved for the site to keep working.

Can you take over an existing website instead of starting from scratch?+

Often, yes. If the current site is on solid infrastructure we can rebuild specific pages or sections; if it's on a dying platform or unmaintainable theme, a full rebuild is usually faster and cheaper than trying to patch it.

WordPress, Wix, or custom-built: what's the difference for my business?+

WordPress and Wix are page builders: quick to start, but you're working inside someone else's constraints and paying an ongoing plugin/hosting tax. A custom build on Next.js and React costs more upfront and gives you a faster, more secure site that can grow into a web application later without a rebuild.

How long does a website project take?+

Depends on scope: a focused brochure site is a different job to a multi-page site with booking flows and integrations. You'll get a realistic timeline after the discovery call, not a guess up front.

What does a website cost?+

It's scope-dependent, so we quote a fixed price after discovery rather than publishing a one-size-fits-all number that doesn't hold up once we know what you actually need.

Do you write the website content, or do I need to provide it?+

Either. We can guide the structure and tighten copy you provide, or draft it from scratch based on what we learn about your business during discovery. Either way, you review and approve everything before it goes live.
